WineFlirt Weekend

New Sipping Spot: Terroir opens its much anticipated second location in Tribeca Friday. Marco Canora and Paul Grieco’s latest venture will include Finger Lakes Riesling on tap and inventive bites like bone marrow bruschetta.

Cool Tasting: Classic Harbor Line puts a new spin on the booze cruise with their Wine Regions of the World Tasting Series. $85 gets you yachting on the Hudson where you’ll sip your way through the wines of Northern Italy. The tasting is led by wine professional Wendy Crispell and includes artisanal cheese pairings, instruction, and a few hours of cruising.

Pick up a bottle here: The Brooklyn Wine Exchange has a bevy of bevies under $12 for your everyday drinking pleasure, and yes, they can help you with the special occasion stuff as well. Another reason to check it out? Cool classes, in-store tastings Friday – Sunday, and an enthusiastic, attentive staff.

Best Freebie: Find your way to Astor Wine & Spirits this Saturday between 3:00 and 5:00pm and you’ll find your glass full of free pours of vino from Vina Robles in California, as well as some interesting Spanish varietals like Priorat and Xarel-lo.

Get This: Frankly Wines is offering assistance to those in need of liquid therapy. Pick up their Reverse Detox Kit and work your way through the six bottle treatment from Muscadet to Cabernet. At a hundred bucks, it’s cheaper (and more fun) than seeing your therapist.
